My Dream Vacation

Opera House

My dream vacation destination is Sydney, Australia. I did not have an opportunity to visit any Western culture countries yet. Recently I read an article about Sydney, after that I wanted to go to Sydney. The article was mainly about Opera house and Harbor Bridge is. As well there is Sydney Harbour Bridge climbing sounds thrilling, and  I am not able to experience bridge climbing in Korea. The view from the bridge will be great, because Sydney Harbour Bridge is located in the heart of Sydney. I am planning to visit Sydney during winter vacation for about  fivedays with my  cousin. However, the cost is a barrier to travel. It may cost 2,000,000 won or more because the Australia dollar has increased about 25% compare to last year.

My Major

I am majoring in Economics. In my classes, I learn Managerial Economics and Business Strategy in addition to Economic Mathematics. I was very interested in Economics and want to be a good Economist. Actually, I am having some difficulties since I didn’t like study during my high school years, but I think the courses are quite fun and interesting. My knowledge in Economics will take an important role in the future. For example, I usually learned in Economic class about the world economy. Three Things I Can’t Live Without

My Hometown

My hometown is close to Konkook University in eastern Seoul. There are many interesting places in my neighborhood. For example, Lotte Department Store, Starcity, Rodeo Street, Technomart and Lotteworld. Lotte Department Store, Starcity and Technomart are large department stores. There are movie theater in Starcity and Technomart. Rodeo Street has many shoe shops and clothing stores. Lotteworld is very enjoyable place because I like thrill rides. It’s a great place to relax or for a date but it’s really expensive. Tickets are W24,000 for seven hours! Also around Konkuk University there are many bars, restaurants and many karaoke room. When friends visit my hometown they have a great time.
